  • 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 keto-friendly rolls or lettuce wraps
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or provolone cheese
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté sliced onions and peppers until tender, about 5 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and cook beef until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice keto rolls horizontally if using bread or prepare lettuce wraps for a low-carb version.
  4. Assemble rolls by filling each with cooked beef, sautéed peppers, and onions. Top with shredded cheese.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
