Instructions

  1. Preparing the Figs and Caramel: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add butter and sugar, stirring until melted and caramel forms. Add sliced figs and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender and coated in caramel. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  2. Preparing the Crust: Roll out tart crust into a tart pan. Prick the bottom with a fork and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool completely.
  3. Mixing the Mascarpone Filling: In a bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth. Spread evenly over cooled tart crust.
  4. Assembling the Tart: Arrange caramelized figs on top of the mascarpone filling. Drizzle with honey, garnish with mint leaves, and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
