Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Arrange them in a baking dish, cut side up.
- Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Add cold butter and work it into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Spoon the crumble evenly over each peach half. Bake for 25-30 minutes until peaches are tender and topping is golden brown.
Notes
- Let leftovers cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in microwave or oven, and crisp the topping in the oven for extra crunch.
