- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 4 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken breasts until browned. Transfer to slow cooker.
- Add heavy cream, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Cook pasta separately according to package instructions and drain.
- Shred the cooked chicken and stir into the sauce in the slow cooker.
- Serve sauce over cooked pasta, garnished with parsley.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with cooked shrimp or omit protein for a vegetarian option.
- For a thicker sauce, cook uncovered for the last 30 minutes.
