Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish, brush with barbecue sauce, and top with shredded cheddar.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.
- Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and chopped green onions before serving.
