- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce or tamari
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Steamed broccoli and shredded carrots (for serving)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.
- Marinate chicken strips in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange chicken strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve with steamed vegetables.
Notes
- Marinate the chicken for longer for more flavor.
- Adjust honey for sweeter or less sweet glaze.
- Serve with jasmine rice for a complete meal.
