Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, and beat well.
- Mix in cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt gradually.
- Fold in chopped chocolate and cherries.
- Use a cookie scoop to drop dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
- Let cookies cool on wire racks, then drizzle with chocolate glaze if desired.
Notes
- Cherries can be replaced with dried cranberries for variation.
