- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add milk and shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until smooth.
- Mix cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce, season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to a baking dish, sprinkle Parmesan and bread crumbs over the top.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
Notes
- Use fresh breadcrumbs for better crunch.
- You can add cooked bacon or herbs for extra flavor.
