- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- Chocolate chips, sprinkles, or any toppings of your choice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until combined, being careful not to overmix. Fold in desired toppings.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store leftover cookies in an airtight container for up to one week at room temperature or two weeks in the fridge.
