Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Olive oil for frying
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry, pound to even thickness, season with salt and pepper.
- Set up three dishes: flour, beaten eggs, and mixture of Parmesan, bread crumbs, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then eggs, then coat with Parmesan mixture.
- Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Optionally, bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes for extra crispiness.
- For garlic sauce, heat olive oil in a small saucepan, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, add heavy cream, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
Notes
- Store leftovers in airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes to maintain crispiness. Avoid microwave reheating to preserve crunch.
