Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or off based on preference)
- 4 oz (about 1/2 cup) Boursin cheese, garlic & herbs flavor
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Fresh dill or parsley for garnish
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Optional: cherry tomatoes or spinach for added freshness
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a large oven-proof skillet or sheet pan with olive oil to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub each piece with a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place them skin-side down in the skillet and sear over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Remove the skillet from heat. Spread about 1 tablespoon of Boursin cheese on top of each salmon fillet. Add minced garlic and lemon slices around the salmon for extra flavor and aroma.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The creamy Boursin cheese will melt into a luscious sauce, coating the salmon beautifully.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh dill or parsley. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables or a light salad.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven or a skillet to maintain its creamy texture. Avoid freezing, as the cream sauce may not reheat as smoothly.
