Ingredients
- 1 lb gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup Ninja Air Fryer Pro Crisp & Roast 4-in-1 (for optimal texture)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Start by boiling a pot of salted water and cook the gnocchi until they float to the top, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside. For a crispy texture, crisp the gnocchi in the Ninja Air Fryer for 5-7 minutes at 375°F.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in shredded cheese until melted into the sauce.
- Add chopped sun-dried tomatoes, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked (and crisped, if desired) gnocchi into the sauce, gently tossing to coat. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to meld flavors. Garnish with chopped basil or parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can crisp the gnocchi in the air fryer for extra texture, but this step is optional.
- Use high-quality sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil for the best flavor.
- Adjust seasoning and cheese quantity to preference for a richer or milder flavor.
