Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450 g) of ground beef
- 8 oz (225 g) of egg noodles
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (120 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients and prep accordingly. Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Remove excess fat and set aside.
- Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic until fragrant and translucent. Pour in the heavy cream, bringing to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked beef and noodles into the skillet with the creamy sauce. Toss until evenly coated and heated through. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently in the microwave or stovetop, adding a splash of cream or broth if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or extra Parmesan for added flavor.
