Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf or bundt pan with butter and dust with flour.
- In a large bowl, beat together the butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add sugar gradually and beat well. One at a time, beat in the eggs, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Sift together the flour and salt. Slowly mix into the wet ingredients until just combined. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 60-70 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

- Use room temperature cream cheese and butter for easier mixing and a smoother batter.
- Avoid overmixing to keep the cake tender and moist.
