Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 8 oz (225g) egg noodles or pasta of choice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika (optional for extra flavor)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream, add the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until the sauce is well combined and heated through.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Add the cooked noodles and toss gently until everything is evenly coated. Warm for a minute or two to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use full-fat heavy cream.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
- Adjust seasoning to suit your taste — a pinch of red pepper flakes can add a spicy kick.
- To make it gluten-free, substitute egg noodles with gluten-free pasta options.
