Classic Meatloaf: A Comforting Family Favorite that brings families together around the dinner table with a combination of ground beef and savory onion soup mix.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (plus more for glazing)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Lipton onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, and ketchup. Mix until well blended.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf form, about 2 inches thick, and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. Spread a layer of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf for added flavor.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Notes

  • Leftover meatloaf can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
