Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

- Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt before gradually incorporating them into the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, allowing room for spreading. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
