- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken with softened cream cheese and mix until well-blended.
- Transfer the mixture into a saucepan; add salsa and taco seasoning, mixing well and heating over medium heat until warm.
- Add shredded cheeses and stir continuously until melted and creamy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Transfer the dip to a serving dish, topping with chopped green onions and serve warm with tortilla chips.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To reheat, microwave until warm throughout.
- This dip can also be frozen; ensure to thaw completely before reheating.
