Instructions
- Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and nutty.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine brown sugar and granulated sugar with the melted butter. Beat in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just incorporated, then fold in oats and chocolate chips.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spoon dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart, and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
