- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add yellow cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix until combined.
- Transfer the batter to a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store banana bread in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For longer storage, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to a week.
- Individual slices can be frozen for up to 3 months.
