- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/3 cup hot honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (adjust for spice preference)
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Set up breading stations: place flour in a shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper in a third.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with panko mixture. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the coated chicken.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk hot honey, soy sauce, and sriracha to make the glaze.
- Remove chicken from oven and brush generously with the honey glaze.
- Return to oven for an additional 5 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by modifying sriracha amount.
- Serve with steamed rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
