- 40 graham crackers or buttery crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans, almonds, or walnuts)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and arrange crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and sea salt. Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the crackers.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until the caramel is bubbly and gooey.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with chopped nuts, and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
