Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) of crescent roll dough or refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 2 cups of sliced fresh or canned peaches (drained)
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup of old-fashioned oats (optional for topping)
  • 1/4 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Powdered sugar glaze or vanilla icing (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Drain and slice fresh or canned peaches. Toss with 1/4 cup of brown sugar and a teaspoon of cinnamon.
  2. If using refrigerated dough, unroll and flatten on a floured surface. Spread melted butter over the dough and evenly distribute the peach slices. Optional: sprinkle oats or chopped nuts.
  3. Roll up the dough into a log and cut into 8-10 slices.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place slices into a greased baking dish, spacing evenly. Optional: sprinkle additional oats or nuts on top.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then drizzle with powdered sugar glaze or vanilla icing. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use ripe peaches for maximum flavor and juiciness.
  • Adjust cinnamon to your taste preference.
  • For a crisp topping, add oats and chopped nuts before baking.
  • Reheat leftovers in microwave for a warm, gooey dessert.
