- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare peaches by halving and removing pits. Arrange in a baking dish cut side up.
- In a small bowl, combine chopped pecans, honey or maple syrup, melted butter, and cinnamon. Mix well.
- Fill each peach cavity with the pecan mixture, pressing gently to pack.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until peaches are tender and topping is golden brown.
Notes
- Allow baked peaches to cool before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds or in a low oven.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute honey with agave syrup or coconut nectar.
- Add vanilla extract or nutmeg for extra flavor enhancement.
