Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
- 24 ladyfingers
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or grated chocolate
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl, combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture to create a fluffy filling.
- Prepare a strong brewed coffee, then let it cool. Stir in the coffee liqueur if using.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they absorb flavor but don’t get too soggy. Layer dipped ladyfingers in a serving dish. Spread half of the cream mixture over the layer of ladyfingers. Repeat for a second layer, finishing with remaining cream on top.
- Sprinkle unsweetened cocoa powder evenly over the top. Garnish with grated chocolate or chopped chocolate if desired. Chill in the fridge for at least 10 minutes to meld flavors.
Notes
- Make sure to chill the tiramisu thoroughly for the best flavor and texture.
- If you prefer a less intense coffee flavor, adjust the amount of brewed coffee accordingly.
- For a richer chocolate experience, add extra grated chocolate on top.
